Hi, I’m Sarah Peterson.
I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Sarah Peterson, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, with nearly two decades of clinical experience across cardiology, oncology, endocrinology, diabetes, renal care, and outpatient nutrition.
Throughout my career, one thing has remained clear: nutrition is foundational to health, healing, and living well.
But nutrition is about more than knowing what to eat.
My work has given me a deep appreciation for the science of nutrition, but also for the gap between knowing what to do and actually making it work in everyday life. The most meaningful changes rarely come from another list of rules or a perfect meal plan. They come from having the right information, practical strategies, and personalized support to turn knowledge into habits that last.
That’s what led me to create Elevate Nutrition Collective.
I bring together evidence-informed nutrition, Lifestyle Medicine, whole-food, plant-forward eating, and practical coaching to help people make nutrition work in the context of their actual lives.
I work primarily with women who want to take a more proactive role in their health — whether that's supporting metabolic health, managing weight, improving energy, navigating changing health needs, or investing in long-term health and vitality. I also welcome men who are looking for personalized, practical nutrition support.
Nutrition for Real Life
As a wife, mother, and home cook, I understand that nutrition doesn't happen in a vacuum.
Meals have to work for families. Food has to fit busy schedules. Cooking needs to be approachable. And healthy eating needs to leave room for travel, celebrations, restaurants, adventure, and the occasional night when dinner is simply whatever you can pull together.
My own family's health experiences have given me an even deeper appreciation for the realities of putting nutrition and lifestyle principles into practice. Knowing what is healthy is one thing. Finding a way to make it part of your life — consistently, imperfectly, and sustainably — is another.
Living in Jackson Hole has shaped my perspective, too. I love cooking at home, using local food when possible, getting outside, and making the most of life in Wyoming. I believe nutrition should support the life you're already living — not require you to put it on hold.
My approach is grounded in formal education, clinical experience, continuing professional development, and a commitment to translating nutrition science into guidance that is evidence-informed, individualized, and practical.
